9 Ways to Personalize Your Camper

While under quarantine, we have been planning our upcoming camping trips and trying to spruce up our camper. Campers are like houses, sometimes a slight change in decoration or an addition of a new item can give a fresh vibe. The other day, while trying to find a personalized doormat for our camper, I discovered Etsy. Etsy has everything I could imagine for personalizing your camper. Brandi rolled her eyes at me because she has been using Etsy for years. I had no clue that this online store was full of items that we could use to deck out our camper. I wanted to share some of my favorite finds.

Campsite Flags

We have a few camping flags that we rotate and display in front of our house to remind us that we would rather be camping. However, we do not have any personalized flags for the campsite. We found these at the Campsiteflags Etsy Shop (check it out). They have almost a hundred different designs that can be personalized with your name and hometown. Pet lovers can customize their pet type on the flag.

HappyCamperWorld (check it out) is another Etsy shop with a variety of flags ready for personalization. HappyCamperWorld also has several other camping related products that can be customized, such as hand towels and pillowcases.

Vinyl Monogramming

We went camping with some friends in late January, whose last name begins with the letter “L.” They placed a vinyl letter “L” on their door window to give their camper an elegant, personal touch. The letter looked fantastic, so we began looking at similar ways to personalize our camper. We found RVTrampStamps (check it out), and they have numerous designs that can be placed anywhere on your camper. We urge you to check out all of their design, as they are very reasonably priced. The owners of the shop will help with custom designs as well.

Doormats

Oh, and about that personalized doormat for the camper… Mekongcraft (check it out) has a variety of doormats that can be personalized just for you. You will love their collection.

Blankets

Littleedenco (check it out) is another Etsy shop with several unique camping items. Our favorite is the personalized camping blankets. The blankets will keep you warm when you are sitting around the campfire on those cool fall and winter nights. The blankets also make great gifts!

Lighted Mason Jars

Another unique shop we found is GrandmasjarsByTracy (check it out). This Etsy shop specializes in decorated mason jars that light up. Several jars have a camping theme. The jars make a unique item for decorating your camper and to light up the indoors and outdoors at night.

Puzzle Lights

The last time we camped, we witnessed two trends in the area of outside camper lighting. The first is puzzle lamps. We have seen several campers who had these neat looking lights hanging from their awning. Lightitupnow (check it out) has a wide variety of these lamps in their Etsy shop.

Bucket Lights

The second trend is the bucket lantern. Essentially, these are five-gallon buckets that have been turned into lanterns. The RubyRouxDesign Etsy Shop (check it out) sells personalized bucket lanterns. One of the cool features of these lanterns is that they come with a remote control that allows you to change the color of the light, completely changing the persona of the lantern based on your mood. Many campers have theses personalized versions of this clever item set out at their campsite. Brandi loves that you can change the color of the lights, depending on the upcoming holiday or season.

Trash Cans

Check out the trash cans at Ramshackles Etsy Shop (check it out). These are small trash cans, perfect for use inside the camper because they do not take up much space. They are hand-painted then sealed with spar-urethane to safeguard the paint.
