Up the Creek RV Camp does not have a lot of amenities; however, the campground is tranquil and peaceful. The quiet peacefulness is one of the reasons we love this campground. The Pigeon Forge area has a lot going on, and we enjoy visiting all of the unique locations throughout the region. However, most places are bustling and loud. It is nice to come back to the campground and relax beside the babbling creek.
There are several things to do at John Tanner Park. There is a large lake with a beach area for swimming. There have pavilions that can be rented as well. John Tanner Park has paddle and jon boats for rent. The lake is an excellent location for fishing as well. There is also a miniature golf course at the John Tanner Park Campground.
