Up the Creek RV Park

Up the Creek RV Camp is located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We have camped in this area 10 or 12 times, and this is our favorite campground in the Pigeon Forge-Gatlinburg area.

Amenities at Up the Creek RV Camp

Up the Creek RV Camp does not have a lot of amenities; however, the campground is tranquil and peaceful. The quiet and peacefulness are the reasons we love this campground. The Pigeon Forge area has a lot going on, and we enjoy visiting all of the unique locations throughout the region. However, most places are bustling and loud. Returning to the campground and relaxing beside the babbling creek is nice.

The campground has a trolley stop for the Pigeon Forge Mass Transit Trolley System. The trolley system allows you to access Pigeon Forge restaurants and attractions, including Dollywood.

Up the Creek does not have a bathhouse, so if that is a must, you want to consider other options (Read about other campgrounds in the area).

Favorite Sites at Up the Creek RV Camp

We usually stay in sites 27, 28, or 29, although we do not necessarily have one favorite site at Up The Creek RV Camp. Most sites that back up to the Creek are spacious and private. We like the Walden Creek side a little better than the Cove Creek side, but there is no big difference. Some houses sit across the other side of Walden Creek if that bothers you.

Description of Up the Creek RV Camp

The campground lies between two creeks and the majority of the sites back up to one of the creeks. The campsites are large, and these large sites are a big plus. The site size is excellent compared to most campgrounds in the area, whose sites are small and extremely close together.
