Fox Hill RV Resort
We recently visited Fox Hill RV Resort while vacationing at the Wisconsin Dells. Fox Hill RV Resort and Campground is located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, less than 15 minutes from the Dells.
Amenities at Fox Hill RV Resort and Campground
Fox Hill RV Resort and Campground has an array of amenities. There is a heated pool and a swimming pond with multiple water features. In addition, Fox Hill has the largest playground in the Wisconsin Dells. The playground has swings, a pickleball court, a basketball court, two volleyball courts, and two gaga ball pits. Don’t worry if you do not have the proper equipment for these activities. There is a lot of equipment in the clubhouse that you can borrow.
You can purchase discounted tickets to many of the attractions in the Wisconsin Dells at the Fox Hills RV Resort clubhouse.
Favorite Sites at Fox Hill RV Resort
Section A, directly across from the clubhouse, is the oldest section. All of the sites in this area have lots of shade. We stayed in G-14, and it is a nice long pull-through. The G section had long pull-throughs but did not have as much shade as those in area A. All of the sites in these two sections are near the playground. It is a short walk to the pool and the swimming pond.

Things To Do Near Fox Hill RV Resort
There are so many attractions near the campground. Circus World Museum is only a few miles away. This location in Baraboo is where the performers used to train and practice for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus. Animals were also trained here. It has been converted into a fascinating museum. They have circus performances, so call to check the performance schedule. You can even ride an elephant.
Pewitt’s Nest is a small waterfall about ten minutes from the campground. There is a parking area, which is about a 5-minute walk to the waterfall. You can walk up and see the waterfall or swim back to see it from the water.
Next door to the campground is the Ho-Chunk Casino and a 12-hole golf course. Fox Hill guests receive 20% off at the golf course.
We ate nearby at the Ishnala Supper Club, and it was phenomenal. Unfortunately, they do not take reservations, and you will probably have to wait to eat, but it was worth it. If you have never participated in a Wisconsin supper club, it is a fabulous experience.
Devil’s Rock State Park has several areas to hike, including trails to the most iconic rock formations in Wisconsin, Devil’s Door and Balancing Rock. If you collect stamps in the National Park Passport Book (Check it out on Amazon), you can also get the stamp for the Ice Age Trail at this state park.
Fox Hills is less than 15 minutes from the Wisconsin Dells, the water park capital of the world. They have a nice mix of indoor and outdoor water parks. The campground offers discounted passes to a couple of the water parks in the area, so check with them before you go.
We found out what a dell was on the Original Wisconsin Duck Tour. A Dell is a rock formation formed by melting glaciers. The Original Wisconsin Duck Tour is a great way to see the area and take in some beautiful sites, including the dells themselves.
You will love it if you have never been to the Wisconsin Dells. This vacation surpassed our expectations with the attractions, especially Fox Hill RV Resort and Campground. We could have spent our entire summer there! Maybe we will see you at the resort sometime!
