Favorite Sites at Fox Hill RV Resort

Section A, directly across from the clubhouse, is the oldest section. All of the sites in this area have lots of shade. We stayed in G-14, and it is a nice long pull-through. The G section had long pull-throughs but did not have as much shade as those in area A. All of the sites in these two sections are near the playground. It is a short walk to the pool and the swimming pond.

There are so many attractions near the campground. Circus World Museum is only a few miles away. This location in Baraboo is where the performers used to train and practice for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus. Animals were also trained here. It has been converted into a fascinating museum. They have circus performances, so call to check the performance schedule. You can even ride an elephant.

Pewitt’s Nest is a small waterfall about ten minutes from the campground. There is a parking area, which is about a 5-minute walk to the waterfall. You can walk up and see the waterfall or swim back to see it from the water.

Next door to the campground is the Ho-Chunk Casino and a 12-hole golf course. Fox Hill guests receive 20% off at the golf course.

We ate nearby at the Ishnala Supper Club, and it was phenomenal. Unfortunately, they do not take reservations, and you will probably have to wait to eat, but it was worth it. If you have never participated in a Wisconsin supper club, it is a fabulous experience.

the Wisconsin Dells

We found out what a dell was on the Original Wisconsin Duck Tour. A Dell is a rock formation formed by melting glaciers. The Original Wisconsin Duck Tour is a great way to see the area and take in some beautiful sites, including the dells themselves.

You will love it if you have never been to the Wisconsin Dells. This vacation surpassed our expectations with the attractions, especially Fox Hill RV Resort and Campground. We could have spent our entire summer there! Maybe we will see you at the resort sometime!
